John Ellena is the Founder and CEO of Shining Light Strategies, a business coaching and strategic consulting firm whose focused mission is to change the lives of business owners and their teams by helping them build more profitable and well run companies. John provides his Clients simple practical strategies and tools that, when properly implemented will exponentially drive growth, increase revenue, and enhance profitability.
Previously, John spent his career in the automotive industry where he owned and operated highly successful new and pre-owned auto dealerships for over 40 years
John and his wife Cathy spilt their time between their homes in Lawrence Kansas and Lake Winnebago Missouri. They enjoy getting to spend family time with their four grown daughters and two grandchildren. Outside of his callings as a Business Coach and a Family man, John values continuous learning and personal development, principles that show up in how he coaches and supports the people he serves. His goal is to empower his clients with the knowledge and skills needed to build a thriving and sustainable business.
